Builder Tip #4

Keyword: Speed
I was filling in the floor of the house the other day and I realized that it took forever to do this at normal speed. So I browsed youtube to see if anyone had figured out a way to build faster. And I found out someone had! TurtleDerp (once again) had listed in one of his videos that a speed potion allows you to place blocks faster than normal. So Today's Tip is use a speed potion to place blocks faster while you are building. It works!

Building Tip #3

Keyword: Laziness
When you start building a house, you usually build the walls and then the roof, because a floating roof would just be weird. You would then probably lay out the inside so you can see how tall the rooms will be, the room sizes, et cetera. So let's say you are building this house, and you realize that you are one block off, which means you will have to redo the roof. This is really annoying because this takes time you could use to build the windows and whatnot. But you decide it's ok, you can make it work. So then you keep building, and then it turns out everything is wrong and there isn't enough space to put down anything. So now not only do you have to redo the roof, you have to redo the inside and the walls. Moral of the story, DON'T WAIT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I have done this so many times, it's unbelievable.
Another way to avoid this is to build out the frame first. Then, if you have any mistakes, you won't have to redo the whole house, just a couple of blocks. Here is a cool frame I built:

Building Tip #2

Keyword: Rain
In MineCraft, it's annoying to build while it's pouring. That we can all conclude. So obviously we want to stop. Here is how:
Rain Command: /toggledownfall
This will also start the rain if it is not raining, and vice versa.

Building Tip #1

Keyword: Time
Everyone knows it's definitely harder to build in the night. It is as equally hard to build in the middle of a MineCraft night. So the simple solution is to change the time back to day. How? Well don't just stand there, keep reading!
Dawn: /timeset 0
Personally I don't like to use this command because it is still very dark for a while, so I tested a couple of number and found that this command gives you a good brightness and quite a while to work.
Random Time That Works: /timeset 25000

Welcome to the new series of random tips and suggestions about building! Here I give you tips on avoiding messes that I have gotten myself into and have struggled to get out alive. Most of these little tips were things that caused problems but also were super annoying in some cases. Most of them are probably going to be helpful. Probably.

Ralmont Stable

First off, Ralmont is a completely random name. Second of all, this is a stable for the ranch I'm building. Third, my design. And that's pretty much it.

Random Person says, "It looks like someone just took a brick bomb and made a house! That's a lot of bricks!"

I say, "Haha. It was my first try on making a modern neighborhood house."

Random Person says, "It's pretty big."

I say, "Definitely."

Not A Mushroom

Before you ask, no it's not a mushroom. It's also not an ice cream sandwich on a pole with whipped cream on top. Mind you, I did not come up with that one. It's a super spleef arena that can be used for anything else that needs an arena. This project isn't fully done because someday I am going to put in bleachers. I got this idea from Slamacow the minecraft animator. The link to this video is down below. And now here are the pictures.

For The Girls

So you know how girls are usually all about clothes? And you know how much it annoys you when all they do is talk about that? If that applies to you, then I'm sorry because I have just ruined your life. This is a way to bring clothes into the minecraft world. All credit goes to "TurtleDerp,"  the minecraft YouTuber for showing me this.

You Won't Get Out Alive

This one was quite a quick build. I threw this together, once again, for the Endergirls project. For the zombies, you have to spawn a certain one that will pick up items such as armor. These guys spawn randomly and if you use a spawn egg its a certain percentage that a zombie will be able to pick items up and be able to wear armor thrown at them. Also, the link to the Endergirls channel is once again below the picture.

No Horse? No Minecart? How about an Airplane?

This is the perfect replacement if you don't have a horse. Well almost; this airplane doesn't really go anywhere. This airplane is going to be used as a prop for this new show my friends and I started called the Endergirls. Link is near the end. Meanwhile, here are the pictures.

Up Up and Away

So normally you have a few jumps set out... Not with me.
I decided I would rather have more fun with a full out course. So this is what I built. It took longer than you would expect because where the bleachers are there once was an ocean. I had to fill it in from the bottom of the ocean floor. Most of these jumps are based off of real jumps, especially the first few. If you need anything like this, feel free to use the designs.

Mr. Bridge

Well I'm back with another structure! This one I built to (duh) connect two landforms together because on one side I am planning to build a city and on the other I have my ranch and a village and so on. This was quick project but I still hope you enjoy it.

Fancy-Shmancy-House

This house I built pretty loosely but it turned out to be a very nice fit for the ranch I was building. It used both spruce wood and oak wood so it would be relatively expensive material wise if you tried to build it on survival. I suggest building this on creative like I did. I will show the rest of the ranch after done I'm with it.

Ok if you are reading this, chances are you looked up "Minecraft structure images" and it just so happened this blog was up there. So you might like to know that here I post every single house, building, bridge and so on that I have ever made. This is also a place I put things that I'd like to the show the world.
